Little Bird Artisan Markets

Nominated for the Yorkshire Choice Independent Business of the Year 2022/2023

Spring Applications

Little Bird Made

Application Form Jan - April 2023

Terms & Conditions amended on 28.06.22.

We are an artisan market that wants to help serve local communities with the best artisan stalls, whilst giving traders the best opportunities to showcase and sell their handmade goods. We’ll keep stall costs low, work hard to ensure you have the biggest footfall possible, and consider environmental issues wherever we can.

We know that we need to do a lot of work to make it a success for our traders and local communities. We’ll be out putting leaflets through doors, putting up banners, signs, and posters. We’ll promote on social media and send out PR messages to local media and bloggers.

We will do our best to choose traders who are good at marketing their own products. This means we expect you to:

  • Help publicise our markets through your own social media and websites

  • We expect you to pay on time (within three days of receiving the invoice)

  • Turn up on time with a positive attitude

  • Follow set-up instructions (emailed to you on the Mon/Tue before an event)

  • Share issues directly with us

  • Respect other traders

  • Respect the communities by parking and trading thoughtfully and with care

  • Consider the environment in everything you do

  • Offer great customer service

If you’re an artisan trader and would like to be considered for a stall, please complete this application form below.

Please note:

  • Please only book in markets you can commit to. More than three changes/cancellations will result in you no longer being able to trade with Little Bird for four months.  There is a large amount of admin that goes into your booking. We run eleven markets a month with a small team. Please help us to keep YOUR costs down.

  • We are not a one-whip market. Depending on the size of the market there may be other stalls similar to yours.

  • You can only sell items that you book in with your original application. If you wish to add further stock, you must email the team.

  • Food traders/alcohol traders will need further documentation.

PLEASE NOTE: You will need to attach copies of £1m Public Liability Insurance to trade with us. Food traders also need Food Hygiene Certificates and details of allergens information.

Please ensure that you are following us on Facebook and Instagram
