At Little Bird Made we have made it our mission since 2018 to support charities across North Yorkshire, from the British Heart Foundation, St Michael’s Hospice, Yorkshire Air Ambulance, Herriot Hospice Homecare, Dog’s Trust and Andy’s Man Club to name but a few.
One of the charities we love supporting is the RSPB. This charity is for the conservation of birds and nature. Their mission is to bring people together who love birds and other wildlife and who want to take action to restore the health and diversity of our natural world.
Our world is living in a nature and climate emergency, and the RSPB carries out conservation on a large scale, to protect and restore habitats and save species from becoming extinct, as well as working on putting laws, policies and funding in place.
The health of the natural world is fundamental to the survival of all species - including us. The RSPB along with 1.2 million members, supporters, volunteers, communities, farmers, campaigners as well as business leaders and partners can work on saving nature. By working together, we can save it.
If you would like to find out more on the RSPB have a look at their website www.rspb.org.uk or why not pop along to a Little Bird Market and have a chat with one of the wonderful team. You can’t miss them, just look for the bright blue branded gazebo and they will be more than happy to have a chat with you.
You can visit the RSPB team in Acomb this Saturday 15 March, as well as Ripon and Leeds Briggate on the 23 March.
